Every person arrives with a different story. These are the spaces I hold — each tailored to where you are, and where you want to go.

Depression & low mood

Depression often has roots that go deeper than a bad patch. Together we explore what's underneath — not just the symptoms, but the story behind them — so that change feels real and lasting rather than just managed.

Testimonials

Words from people how trust me

These are real experiences shared with permission. Names and identifying details have been changed to protect confidentiality.

  • I came to Fabian convinced I was beyond help. I'd tried therapy twice before and left both times feeling like I was doing it wrong. From the very first session, something felt different — he didn't push, didn't interpret, didn't rush. He just listened in a way I hadn't experienced before. Eight months on, I'm not a different person. I'm just finally the one I was supposed to be.

  • I'd been carrying anxiety for so long it felt like part of my personality. Fabian helped me see it wasn't who I am — it was something that had happened to me. That reframe changed everything. I still have hard days, but I know how to move through them now.

Common questions

Everything you want to know before reaching out

Everything you want to know before reaching out

It's completely normal to have questions — or doubts — before starting therapy. Here are the ones Fabian hears most often, answered honestly.

It's completely normal to have questions — or doubts — before starting therapy. Here are the ones Fabian hears most often, answered honestly.

How do I know if therapy is right for me?

If something is weighing on you — even if you can't quite name it — therapy is worth exploring. You don't need to be in crisis. You don't need a diagnosis. The most common reason people come to therapy is simply a persistent feeling that something isn't right. That's enough. The free 15-minute consultation exists precisely so you can explore this without any commitment.

What happens in the first session?

The first session has no fixed agenda. It's an opportunity for you to share what's brought you here, and for Fabian to begin understanding your situation. There's no pressure to disclose everything at once. Many clients find the first session easier than expected — the groundwork is already laid by your consultation call, so you won't be starting from scratch.

Do I need a referral from my doctor?

No referral is needed. You can book directly through this website. Private therapy is self-referred — you don't need to go through your GP or any other healthcare provider. If you're also working with a psychiatrist or GP and would like Fabian to coordinate care with them, that can be arranged with your consent.

What if I'm not ready to talk about everything yet?

That's entirely normal, and there's no expectation that you will be. Therapy isn't an interrogation — nothing is extracted from you. You share what you're ready to share, when you're ready to share it. Fabian's role is to create the conditions in which that readiness can grow, not to rush it.

Is everything I say kept confidential?

Yes — confidentiality is fundamental to therapy, and Fabian takes it seriously. Everything discussed in sessions stays between you and him. There are very limited exceptions required by law — specifically if there is a serious and immediate risk of harm to yourself or others — and Fabian will explain these clearly in your first session so there are no surprises.

Will my employer or insurance company find out I'm in therapy?

Not without your explicit written consent. Fabian does not share client information with employers, insurers, or any third party. If you're using insurance to cover sessions, your insurer may receive a general billing code — this will be explained to you clearly before any claim is submitted. If privacy is a priority, paying privately ensures complete discretion.

Are online sessions as secure as in-person?

Yes. All online sessions are conducted via an encrypted, HIPAA-compliant video platform — not standard video call apps. Sessions are never recorded. You'll receive a private, unique link before each session. The only thing you need to ensure is that you're in a private space where you feel comfortable speaking freely.

How long are sessions and how often will we meet?

Individual sessions are 50 minutes. Couples sessions are 75 minutes. Most clients begin with weekly sessions, which provides the consistency needed to build momentum early on. As you progress, many clients naturally shift to fortnightly sessions — and the cadence is always adjusted to what's working for you. There's no fixed requirement.
